Political Science Interns Reunion

Can you believe it's been 50 years? What started with four interns in 1976 has grown into a program with over 600 alumni who have served in local, state, and federal government, as well as on campaigns and with non-profit organizations.

Where: Worcester Room in the Commons Dining Hall at Salisbury University

Cost: $40 (Includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and one drink ticket.)

Mileah K. Kromer, Ph.D.   

Director, UMBC Institute of Politics

Associate Professor, Department of Political Science

Dr. Mileah Kromer is the director of the UMBC Institute of Politics and an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science.  With more than a decade of experience conducting public opinion research in Maryland, her research and related public commentary are regularly featured on state and local news and public affairs programming, leading her to be named one of The Daily Record’s Most Influential Marylanders.

Dr. Kromer’s opinion writing has appeared in national outlets like POLITICO Magazine, CNN, The Washington Post, and The Hill. She is also the author of Blue State Republican: How Larry Hogan Won Where Republicans Lose and Why it Matters for a Future GOP (Temple University Press, 2022).
